Arboricultural surveys assess the health, age, and size of any tree that has a diameter of over 75mm. Recommendations for any further treatments of the tree will then be issued based upon the survey, including whether the tree should be retained or removed from the site.

 

Impact Assessments

An Arboricultural Impact Assessment will also consider any Tree Preservation Orders that have been applied in the Birmingham area and considers the weighting of the benefits and value of the trees on the site.  It also determines the effect of planned development on the trees that are currently in place on the site, highlighting any potential conflict between the two.
