We provide landscape plans, arboricultural surveys, ecological surveys, protected species surveys and soil testing and analysis.

We provide them with the detailed documentation they require. This can be for a planning application or to assess the causes of damage to property. Alternatively, it could be to present to a court. We also offer a comprehensive landscape design service. This allows our clients the opportunity to take a virtual three dimensional walk through the design before the work on site has even started.

Managing Director
Jason is the Owner and Managing Director of ProHort, guiding the company’s direction and providing clear, confident advice on complex site requirements. With 30+ years’ experience, RHS horticultural training and PCA certification, he brings strong technical judgement across horticulture and invasive-weed remediation. His approach is direct, grounded and commercially aware, keeping projects on track.

Emma Cadlin
(MBA, CMgr MCMI)
Head of Operations
Emma leads ProHort’s operational and compliance delivery, ensuring systems, teams and processes operate with consistency and quality. She brings an MBA and Chartered Manager status, applying structured leadership and disciplined organisational practice across the company. She keeps operations focused, organised and working together, giving the team a solid foundation to deliver consistently.

Annette Lucas
Client Manager
Annette oversees key client relationships at ProHort, keeping communication clear and projects moving in the right direction. She brings strong practical knowledge to more complex client needs and helps people understand their options with confidence. Clients value her judgement, responsiveness and the reassurance she brings at every stage.

Hannah Burton

Senior Ecologist
Hannah plays a key role within ProHort’s ecology team, delivering surveys and contributing to assessments that help clients understand site constraints with clarity and purpose. She has strong field experience and a confident grasp of habitats and species considerations, particularly on multi-survey sites. Her approach is organised, informed and focused on keeping ecological input aligned with project needs.

Owen Brown

Senior Ecologist
Owen approaches ecological work with a steady, methodical style and is particularly comfortable across mixed habitats and tree-related assessments. He enjoys the practical side of fieldwork and takes a genuine interest in how different landscapes behave through the seasons. He also brings a strong awareness of sustainability and good environmental practice, reflecting that in the way he works on site and interacts with the natural spaces he surveys.

Jade has a natural enthusiasm for wildlife and a real curiosity for the species she encounters throughout the year. She enjoys the variety of fieldwork and the chance to work across different habitats, bringing energy and focus to each survey. Away from work, she’s active in her local bat group and enjoys taking part in their monitoring sessions.

Angelena supports ProHort’s marketing output, delivering clear, structured content, SEO and digital communication. She brings an MSc Psych and GMBPsS status with specialist experience in assessment, research and education.
