Do you require someone to carry out Tree Surveys in Wales?

Tree Surveys in Wales, help to assess the size, age, health and life expectancy of a tree. Surveys can be carried out on trees with a diameter of over 75mm. As part of this report, we will give advice on any treatment that may be required by the tree/s. This will include whether or not the tree should be retained on site. 

The reasons to require a tree survey in Wales: tree surveys are often required as part of a planning application for a development project. These can be applied to trees when they are located in a specific area. Alternatively, when a tree has significant amenity value, is rare or is a good specimen they will apply a TPO.
